A Little About Me — and Why I Created TailoraHi, I’m Emmelie, the founder of Tailora! I’m 26 years old and live in Sweden with my fiancé and our little family of two dogs and two cats. I’m a naturally positive and empathetic person with a lifelong love for animals—although dogs have always held an extra-special place in my heart.
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of creating something of my own: a business where I could bring my ideas to life, express my vision and carefully shape every detail. With my love for dogs, building something dedicated to making life better for them and their owners felt like the perfect path.
I have had dogs throughout my entire life, in many different breeds and sizes. Today, I share my home with an American Bully and a Chihuahua mix, so I understand that life with a big dog can look very different from life with a small one. But no matter their size, every dog brings plenty of love—and a few everyday challenges too!
That is how the idea for Tailora was born.
I wanted to create an online store built around smart, practical solutions to the real problems dog owners experience. Muddy paws, shedding fur, messy mealtimes and stressful grooming routines are just some of the little frustrations that can make everyday life more difficult. Sometimes, you know there must be a better way—you just haven’t found the right solution yet.
That is where Tailora comes in.
I spend a great deal of time identifying the everyday challenges dog owners face and searching for what the best solution is. I then spend even longer comparing the available options to find the right solution for each specific problem. Not every product earns a place at Tailora. Each one must be practical, easy to use and meet the standard I have set for the brand.
My goal is not to fill the store with random pet products. It is to carefully com up with thoughtful solutions that make a real difference for both dogs and the people who love them.
